Vietnam - A Land of Contrasts

Exploring the Beauty and Chaos of a Fascinating Country

Vietnam is a country of contrasts, where natural beauty and urban chaos come together to create a truly unique and unforgettable travel experience. I am still not sure what amazed me more in Vietnam. From the rugged mountains and stunning waterfalls of Ha Giang to the bustling cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam offers something for every type of traveler.

One of the most rewarding ways to explore Vietnam is by motorcycle, after all there are more than 65 million bikes in Vietnam. We took a three-day trip through the rural mountains, and even though we were completely unprepared, the experience was one of the most memorable of my life. The winding roads and picturesque landscapes were breathtaking, and the local people we met along the way were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

In Hanoi, you get a totally different experience. Hanoi is a city that will awaken all of your senses. The streets are crowded with thousands of motorbikes and people crossing the streets, and everything seems like an orchestrated chaos. But if you take a seat on a plastic chair by the side of the road and enjoy a bowl of pho noodle soup with a rich in flavor broth, you’ll quickly realize that this is all part of the charm of Hanoi.

Saigon has been renamed to HCMC incorrectly for sure. It should have been called “the place where you cannot hear your mind”, as it is a true assault on the senses. One of the buzziest cities i have visited. Loud, warm and polluted by fumes of about eight million bikes. It’s a place where you can’t help but be fully present in the moment. What else can someone ask for?

A gift to the traveler by the Vietnamese. Cảm ơn! A reminder of the kindness and generosity of the people. If you’re looking for an adventure that will challenge and inspire you, Vietnam is the place to go. Vietnam, the nation that would not submit!
